KIM.VideoLAB

The KIM.VideoLAB is a service provided by the Communication, Information, Media Centre (KIM) at the University of Konstanz. It provides students, teachers and staff members support with realising their video ideas.

What is the KIM.VideoLAB?

The central aim of the KIM.VideoLAB is to support film and video projects that are related to teaching (including seminars and theses completion). University students, teachers and staff members are introduced to and can learn how to use video technology.

The KIM.VideoLAB makes it possible to use and edit video, sound and animation as part of teaching, learning and continuing education projects. This is one service provided by KIM.LR (Lecture Recording & Media Production).

The KIM.VideoLAB regularly offers classes on video editing and post-production. Should you require any additional information about our services, please contact us via email.

Videoediting Course

Videoediting Course (with Adobe PremierePro CC)

The video editing course with Adobe Premiere Pro consists of two parts: basic knowledge and advanced course. It guides you step by step through setting up Premiere Pro and introduces you to video editing. The HiWis of the KIM.LR (Lecture Recording and Media Production) help you to gain an insight into the whole process of video editing and share their own practical experiences about Premier Pro and video production in general.

3D-Basic Course

3D-Animation - Visualisation with BLENDER | Basics

Enter the world of 3D graphics with the free open source software Blender. The HiWis of KIM.LR (Lecture Recording & Media Production) will teach you the necessary basic concepts and show you the most important methods and tools. Using practical examples, you will start with the first modelling steps and be guided through materials, textures, light and camera to image output.
