Exhibition Opening "6:56–documentary photography from Be'eri, Re'im and Nir Oz"
On Tuesday, June 18 18:45 (BA420/Library at university of Konstanz): Vernissage "6:56"–A photo exhibition
Accompanying the online lecture series "The Hamas-Israel War and Antisemitism. Facts & Discussion", the photo documentation "6:56"–A Photo Exhibition will be shown in the area in front of the university’s library café from June 18 to July 14, 2024.
At the opening on June 18, Judith Wetzka, one of the exhibition initiators, will introduce the exhibition, which shows photographs made in November 2023. The images depict silently the extent of the violence of the massacre on October 7 in the kibbutzim Be'eri, Re'im and Nir Oz. Deserted, ruined houses, a kindergarten, utility rooms and charred trees are shown. The exhibition opening: "6:56–documentary photography from Be'eri, Re'im and Nir Oz." will be in English and also available online.
