Die Exzellenzcluster der Universität Konstanz stellen sich vor
Die Exzellenzcluster "The Politics of Inequality" und "Centre for the Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour" der Universität Konstanz haben zu Beginn dieses Jahres ihre Arbeit aufgenommen. Nun wollen wir uns am 9. Juli um 17:00 Uhr im Audimax der Universität einem breiten Publikum präsentieren, interessierten Kolleg*innen ebenso wie der Konstanzer Öffentlichkeit.
Die Sprecher*innen der beiden Konstanzer Exzellenzcluster laden Sie ein, mit uns einen Abend zu verbringen, an dem wir Ihnen unsere Arbeit ein wenig näher bringen und unsere Projekte ausführlich und anschaulich vorstellen wollen. Bei Snacks und einem kleinen Umtrunk sollen im Anschluss auch Sie Gelegenheit haben, all das zu fragen, was Sie schon immer über Exzellenzcluster wissen wollten, sich aber nicht zu fragen trauten:
Was macht Ungleichheit so politisch? Wie wird aus tausend Fischen oder Vögeln ein Schwarm? Und wenn man an solchen Fragen sieben - oder gar vierzehn! - Jahre forschen darf, wo und wie fängt man das eigentlich an?

The Clusters of Excellence at the University of Konstanz Would Like to Introduce Themselves
The Clusters of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” and “Centre for the Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour” at the University of Konstanz have started on their work at the beginning of this year. We would now like to present ourselves to a wider audience, interested colleagues as well as the general Konstanz public, on July 9th at 5:00 p.m. at the University’s Audimax.
The Speakers of the two Konstanz Clusters invite you to spend an evening with us so we can talk shop for a bit, explaining our work and our project to all in a detailed yet accessible manner. Afterwards, you will have ample opportunity to ask us everything you always wanted to know about Clusters (but were afraid to ask):
What is so political about inequality? How to thousands of fish or bird turn into a swarm? And now that we can work on these questions for seven – or even fourteen! – years, where do we even start?
