Prof. Florian Engert from Harvard University will be coming to Konstanz on his motorbike this Thursday and will give a seminar. Florian is one of the most creative and fun scientists out there and he gives wonderful talks.
He pioneered whole brain imaging in a seminal paper in Nature, and two years later declared “I think whole-brain imaging is just a bunch of bull----“
He pioneered virtual reality for animals, which (luckily) he does not think is just a bunch of bull----.
His lab is always an amazing place to visit, as summarised in this short feature, and he can mostly be found on rollerblades
It will undoubtedly be a thought provoking and exciting seminar!
