SMARTACT: Individual and context-based real-time interventions promoting normal eating and physical activity through mobile technology
For a first kick-off of the interdisciplinary research project “SMARTACT: Individual and context-based real-time interventions promoting normal eating and physical activity through mobile technology”, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and leaded by Prof. Dr. Britta Renner and Prof. Dr. Harald Schupp, University of Konstanz, all principal investigators, researchers, members of the scientific advisory board and other stakeholders of the SMARTACT project met between the 17th and 18th of June in Konstanz. Keynotes from the Advisory Board members – Prof. Dr. Carol J. Boushey, University of Hawaii Cancer Center, USA and Prof. Dr. Stephen Sutton, University of Cambridge, UK – provided an overview about new technologies for assessing eating behavior and digital interventions for behavior change.
